LG G6 coming to the U.S on April 7, according to Evan Blass

The LG G6 is now an open book thanks to LG’s event at Mobile World Congress late last month. At MWC LG couldn’t give us an exact U.S release date for the G6, but thanks to Evan Blass we can assume that April 7th is when the G6 will be hitting carrier shelves.

Unfortunately, the price of the device still isn’t known, but we can expect it to be around the $600-$700 range.

In case you’ve forgotten the LG G6 comes equipped with a glorious metal and glass construction, a Quad HD, 18:9, HDR, LCD display, the Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, expandable storage, dual 13 MP rear facing cameras, wireless charging (certain markets), a Hi-Fi audio DAC (certain markets), and Android 7.0 Nougat with LG’s custom skin on top.

The real question is whether or not the G6 will actually sell, LG hardly markets their devices at all, I’ve never seen a commercial for the LG V20 or for the G5 when it launched. The LG G6 may finally be LG’s big break, but only if they get word out to consumers that the device actually exists, and that it may not cost as much as other competitors’ devices.

Is the LG G6 going to be your next smartphone? Let me know why or why not in the comments.
